  Although I love this place, they have some really beautiful pieces of furniture and the guy who owns it has lived in Kyneton forever and is really nice, I recently bought a console off them, took it home only to realise it was a replica. Now this is all fine and good but when you go from thinking its genuinely old to knowing it's just a replica, you inevitably feel a bit scammed and ripped off. It's my only bad experience with them, I have got multiple items from there and love them all, but just a caution that the furniture you think is real because it's with all the proper stuff, might be a replica. Nothing against replicas, but I prefer originals.

  Nice store with some nice pieces. Firstly, lacks customer service big time. No acknowledgement or greeting upon entry of this shop. Do not ask if you require assistance. Secondly, I asked if the cushions were feather or poly filled as these were going to be outdoors. Response was you can get other cushions elsewhere and more durable. Do not judge a person by how they look - this person can very well be your bread and butter for the week.
