  Such a lovely pub, in a great location and warm staff. Greeted at front bar, for check in, host was great showed me to my room. Newly renovated rooms which are nice, and so clean. Bathrooms are also new, clean and convenient.
  Really enjoyed pub dinner with some great local wines on selection. The beer garden out back would be really good for those summer afternoons. Definately come back.

  What a wonderful stop at the Kyneton Hotel on our way back to Melbourne from Daylesford. Warmly greeted by the front bar staff, and thankfully they had a table available in the dining room despite the fact we didn’t have a booking and they were busy from the moment we walked in.
  
  Our food was the hearty pub grub we were craving - worthy of a decadent Sunday afternoon - on a cold winters day.
  
  I highly recommend the schnitzel and bangers and mash. My husband and I were rolling out the door and the staff were happy to accommodate my request for a box to take all the extra bits home I just couldn’t quite fit in.
  
  The pot pie I didn’t get to taste but our group raved about, along with the pate and soup.
  
  Our family left satisfied and we would highly recommend this wholesome family friendly pub ❤️

  A wonderful weekend getaway! Lovely comfortable rooms, in a convenient location for strolling around town. Add in the incredible hospitality and lovely friendly service, along with a fantastic beer selection and delicious wines! Had a delicious lunch of elevated pub fare with some simple well balanced dishes that let ingredients shine. Thank you for have us!

  Gotta give Sam, the owner of the pub, and the rest of the team a five star review!!
  It was a bit early for dinner but their available menu was surprisingly delicious! The sliders, chicken wings, soup of the day, even the chips were *chef kiss*!
  
  The drinks were good, we were lucky to get to sip their mulled wine just before we had to leave to catch the last train back to Melbourne.
  
  Do yourself a favor, bring your date, your mates, or yourself for a good meal and drinks here!
  
  I definitely will come back.

  I was pleasantly surprised by the Kyneton. The room was spotless, and well sized. I had dinner in the bar and the beef ribs were excellent. Having a shared bathroom was a minor issue but it was recently renovated and spotless. Other accommodation in Kyneton was a lot more expensive and this represented excellent value. Would definitely stay again.
